The president of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital Foundation, Denis Lapointe, is pleased to announce that the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Wine Fair, held on Wednesday, May 24, at the Vaudreuil-Dorion Municipal Arena, ended its activities with a gross income of $121,710. At the end of the charitable event bringing together forty wine agencies, six food providers and more of some twenty financial partners, 589 people accessed the show to both support the mission of the foundation while taking advantage of a quality networking where the exoticism brought to the world of wines charmed many. “It's a strong message that we received from the community,” said Denis Lapointe, who wanted to thank the population and business people for the outpouring of solidarity shown for the cause: “We are closely knit in Vaudreuil-Soulanges and the results we have just obtained demonstrate how much the region is not only generous, but also solitary in her actions aimed at the well-being of Vaudreuil-Soulangeois. For his part, the honorary president of this 18th edition, Sébastien Laliberté — director of Caisse Desjardins de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, said he was honored to have met the visitors individually by welcoming them as soon as they arrived at the Show: “It is incredible to see how the pleasure of coming together for the same goal, that of the hospital, could increase our sense of belonging and pride. The atmosphere was festive and it was in this spirit of conviviality that the objectives were achieved. To be included on your 2024 agenda now, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Wine Show will return for a grand vintage on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.Denis Lapointe, president of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital Foundation.
