The Vaudreuil-Soulanges Wine Show will be back for an 11E edition on Wednesday, May 14, at the Vaudreuil-Dorion Municipal Arena, when the population will be invited to browse the 27 wine stands and gourmet tables that will leave no one wanting to eat.
This year, the honorary presidency of the event was entrusted to Mr.Me Marie-Claude Nichols, deputy for Vaudreuil. It will be recalled that, last year, this role fell to Mr. Guy Pilon, Mayor of Vaudreuil-Dorion, who, according to the organizing committee, did an extraordinary job of mobilizing financial partners and the general population. Need we remind you that this annual event raises funds for the benefit of the Fondation du CSSS de Vaudreuil-Soulanges and the future hospital project in Vaudreuil-Soulanges?
In his speech delivered at the press conference, the chairman of the board of directors of the Fondation du CSSS de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Mr. Jean-Paul Régis, emphasized the importance of participating in this Salon for the pleasure of wine and for the cause of the hospital: “In addition to the contribution of a citizens' mobilization committee for the hospital, which ensures the maintenance of the hospital project in the heart of Vaudreuil-Soulanges. In France, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Wine Fair is the event that, year after year, concretely testifies to the interest of a population to believe in the hospital in Vaudreuil-Soulanges. On May 14, business people and the general population are invited to raise a glass to the Health of the region. Of course, we will find lovers of good wines, but in addition to this quality of products, the event invites those who would like to make a nice foray into the world of wine from here and elsewhere.”
Called to speak, M.Me Marie-Claude Nichols, MP for Vaudreuil and honorary president of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Wine Fair, reaffirmed her unwavering support for the hospital project in Vaudreuil-Soulanges: “I am very happy to act as honorary president for this 11E Vaudreuil-Soulages wine fair which aims to support the CSSS de Vaudreuil-Soulanges foundation for the Hospital. This is undoubtedly the event of the year to show support for the project to build a hospital in our region. Our population is growing and we need emergency and specialized health care services to ensure a good quality of life for our young families as well as for our seniors. I therefore invite everyone to come and support this cause by coming to meet us on May 14 at the Vaudreuil-Dorion municipal arena.”
